Well, I mean, there’s no easy answer. You know, other than try to inform yourself and research as much as you can on treatment options and what to do. You know, you’re your child’s biggest advocate.
All they have is you, whether you like it or not. You know, you kind of just have to stick your feet into the fire and make it happen, and deal with it later, after the appointment and after they go to bed, then you can kind of decompress. You know, the best possible outcome you can have is by doing the best you can. It might not be the outcome you want or the outcome you hoped for, but it’ll be the best possible outcome given the circumstances. If you try your best to just be there for your child, advocate for your child, cuddle them and, let them know that you love them and that you’re going to do everything you can to help them.
